Tokyo Olympics: All you need to know about the postponement of the Games

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics have been postponed to 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe. The Games were scheduled for July 24-August 9 2020, but after discussions between IOC president Thomas Bach and Japan Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, a joint decision was taken for the first ever postponement in the history of the Olympics.
