Pant, who scored 71 in India's total of 287/8 in Chennai on Sunday, decided to bide his time early on, something that Dhoni does so often when he comes in to bat in a tricky situation for India or his IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. The Windies, however, made light work of a challenging total, winning the match by eight wickets with 13 balls to spare for a 1-0 lead in the three-ODI series.
